You guys… I lost my first follower. I miss my laptop so much. And, apparently one of my dear old followers missed it, too. So much that they couldn’t handle the Alpha [my laptop] being gone for SOOOO LOOOOONG.
In essence, this week is killing me and all my lovely followers.
But… My laptop’s down. I’m bringing it in to the Geek Squad tonight, so I’m hoping it won’t cost me and I can get BACK ONLINE. Preferably tonight. Also, fun fact about me: I’m going to the Pacific Science Center tomorrow for the Star Wars Exhibit. Verr pumped.
I went to Half Price Books and bought: Born on the Fourth of July - movie. A River Runs Through It - movie. An Officer and a Gentleman - movie. American Psycho - movie. Lucky Number Slevin - movie. In Bruges - movie. Layer Cake - movie. Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk - book. The Soft Machine by William Burroughs - book. Those last two books I bought as presents for my brother Blu for his birthday. I think he’ll be crazy enough to understand Burroughs, and he’s been wanting to read Fight Club. After that I went to Borders and bought The Sound and the Fury by Faulkner.
SO WASN'T DONE WITH MY COMMENT ON YOUR BLOG POST!
Who can say they have read Atlas Shrugged. You, Weston, my brother! (definitely not me, though I will sometime in the future) haha. A lot of people have no fucking clue who Ayn Rand is which is why the movie hasn't gotten a lot of publicity. I think I found out about this a day or so ago because my brother was talking about it (and he is obsessed with Ayn Rand...kinda). Also, I applaud you for finish Atlas Shrugged. *claps hands!*
xD I thought it was brilliant— couldn’t put it down. And the Fountainhead! Her writing is amazing. Just… Fantastic. Yeah, it looks like a limited release, but, still… I guess, it’s getting out there, and that’s what counts. I’ll get to see it. Haha. Soon as you have the chance, read it. Or anything by her, really. She’s just… Great.
